Who is responsible?
LBXworks, the software development practice of Lars Juffermans, is responsible for analytics on this website. For questions or privacy requests, email larsjuffermans@lbxworks.nl.
Analytics, only with your permission
We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how visitors use this website and improve it. We only load the Google tag after you accept. Google then receives information including page visits, interactions, timestamps, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. Your IP address is processed during the connection; Google states that GA4 does not store it. We remove query parameters and fragments from the page URL sent by our tag.
Cookies and preferences
The _ga and _ga_* cookies help distinguish visits and sessions. Our tag sets a maximum lifetime of 180 days without renewing it on every visit. Your choice (accept or decline) is kept in your browser’s local storage for 180 days under lbxworks.analytics-consent.v1. This storage is necessary to remember your preference. Our Google Analytics tag does not load before you choose or if you decline. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in this tag.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to choose again. Declining after previously accepting stops analytics and deletes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this website. The page then reloads. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Google and international processing
Google processes data to provide analytics, potentially outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s data processing terms for processing and safeguards. Data retention at Google is configured separately in the Analytics property; cookie lifetime is not the same as data retention.
Contact and other connections
The contact form opens your email application. Your message is only sent from that application. We use contact details and messages we receive to respond to your enquiry or discuss a potential project. This website loads fonts through Google Fonts, which receives technical connection details such as your IP address. This is separate from your analytics choice.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data and, where applicable, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us using the email address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
